The Tauranga Branch was opened in 2001 and was the founding Tabak Branch. The Tauranga team is very involved in the local business community and uses this involvement to keep its finger on the pulse of the business climate within the region. We spend a lot of time networking with Lawyers, Accountants, Bankers and other professionals all of whom at various times have contact with us in the business selling process.

Ian Gleghorn I am grateful for my life experiences and confidently pay this forward to everyone I meet and in everything I do, so I ask myself, who can I inspire today?

As a trusted business broker for the last 6 years, I am committed to working with owners of well-established medium to large businesses who are serious about selling and willing to work collaboratively to achieve their desired outcome.

I bring buyers and sellers together by establishing partnerships based on trust. I pride myself on effective interactions and attention to detail, providing guidance and support to each person throughout the entire process, from the initial business assessment through to the settlement date.

I bring extensive knowledge and experience from more than 25 years in business management to every sales transaction. I am resourceful, influential with an entrepreneurial spirit and have numerous stories of success and failure, however my greatest learning has not come from success, rather from the challenges I have overcome when things did not go so well.

My friends say that, “I am honest, empathetic, fun to be around and have a great appetite for knowledge. I am inquisitive and constantly looking at ways to grow and improve who I am and the things I do.”

Some clients have also said;

“We believe that Ian is a consummate professional, and carried out all negotiations in confidence, ensuring the trust of our purchases. They also found him equally helpful and easy to deal with. We would happily recommend him to any potential vendors.”
Lucy & Richard Ive. Action Equipment, Tauranga

“His advice was invaluable when explaining the procedures required to create a satisfactory outcome for the sale of my business.”
Peter Harford. Petes Takeaways (Waste Removal Company) Tauranga

"Ian played a crucial role in the negotiations and I have no hesitation in recommending him to you for the marketing of your business.”
