The Opportunity

This business installs systems that are required in virtually every office or commercial/municipal building.  It therefore has strong ongoing demand for its services from the commercial and construction sector.  Confirmed orders as at 29 August 2017 equated to around 41% of last year's turnover.

The business was formed over 30 years ago and has an excellent client base of major players in its target market.  Some of these client relationships date back 20 or more years.

The ideal purchaser is likely to have an engineering or trade background, and be comfortable with putting together quotations and managing projects.  Alternatively, the business could be run by a General Manager with these skills, or with support from an Operations Manager to handle design and quoting.  The owner is keen to ensure the business's ongoing success and is therefore open to discussing an extended handover period and/or some ongoing involvement on an as required basis.

Based on the history of earnings, we expect to receive buyer interest in the $1.5 million to $2.0 million range.
