Owner looking to move on and says present all offers
Kitchens - all manufacturing and installation outsourced
$Present all offers - Auckland
Our client has advised us that he wishes to move on to other opportunities, and has therefore said that we should present all offers for the business.
This Auckland based business sells mid to high end kitchens and other cabinetry. All production and installation is outsourced to a small number of external providers. The normal risks and complications of managing a factory and an installation team are therefore avoided. There is only one employee, plus part-time accounting support.
Sales are made to a highly diversified range of private and commercial customers. The largest customer in the year to 31 March 2020 made up 13% of sales, with the second largest at just 3%.
Recent press coverage has highlighted that, post-COVID, New Zealanders are choosing to spend money on their homes, given that they cannot travel overseas. This business is poised to benefit from such spending.
The business is still in growth mode, and there is scope to grow sales by increasing marketing spend. At present very little time or money is invested in this area. It is currently a Monday to Friday only operation.
